I am a Bay Area based Registered Dietitian with over 10 years of experience helping people improve their health without rigid diets or food guilt. My work has spanned across diverse areas, from supporting individuals with eating disorders and bariatric surgery to guiding those managing diabetes, insulin resistance, metabolic health.
I’m especially passionate about women’s health and believe that every woman—whether a teen, navigating pregnancy, or transitioning through menopause—deserves the right support to feel her best. Nutrition isn’t just about what’s on your plate; it’s about understanding your body, your mindset, and your relationship with food through all stages of life.
Beyond just educating you on what to eat, I’m trained in evidence-based nutrition counseling frameworks that focus on behavior change. This means I help you work through the psychology of eating, mindset shifts, and the real-life challenges that make food choices feel hard.
Outside of work, I love painting, hiking, and spending time with my 5-year-old son—my “why” behind everything I do. He reminds me every day of the importance of balance, nourishment, and leading by example.
If you’re looking for a compassionate, practical, and sustainable approach to health, I’d love to support you on your journey!
My nutrition philosophy
I believe that nutrition should be realistic, flexible, and empowering—not a source of stress or guilt. My approach goes beyond meal plans and calorie counts; it’s about helping you build a positive, sustainable relationship with food that supports your health and well-being.
🔹 No Fads, No Extremes – I don’t believe in restrictive diets, quick fixes, or one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I focus on evidence-based, culturally inclusive strategies that fit into your lifestyle.
🔹 Weight-Neutral & Behavior-Focused – Health is about more than a number on the scale. I take a weight-neutral approach that prioritizes behavior change, metabolic health, and overall well-being over rigid weight goals.
🔹 Mindset & Psychology Matter – Eating is more than just food; it’s tied to emotions, habits, and life experiences. I integrate behavior change principles to help you navigate challenges around mindset, emotional eating, and food-related stress.
🔹 Cultural Foods Belong on Your Plate – As a vegetarian dietitian specializing in South Asian nutrition, I help you balance traditional foods with science-backed strategies so you can nourish your body while honoring your roots.
🔹 Sustainability Over Perfection – Progress, not perfection, is the goal. I’ll help you make practical, lasting changes without deprivation or overwhelm.
Food should support your life, not control it—and I’m here to help you find that balance!
